This past week has been a week of miracles! We have just completed the video recording of our series, Healing the Sick, before a live audience at Pastor Jason Lozano’s, Victory Christian Center, in Santa Fe Springs, California.

This new eight-hour, bilingual teaching series will be part of the thirty-two hours of video teaching that we are doing as a new trimester for the International School of Ministry that now has over 12,000 training sites in 141 nations around the world. It is now the largest video Bible training series in the world.

I taught this series from our manual, God’s Provision for Healing, laying a foundation for healing based solidly on God’s Word and then teaching practical ways to minister healing to the sick.

Healing in Our Redemption

The first night Pastor Jason’s uncle, who was suffering numbness on the left side of his body as a result of a recent stroke, was instantly and completely healed by the power of God’s Word while I was teaching on Healing in Our Redemption.

I was on television with Pastor Jason about a month ago teaching about healing, and a lady heard the program and knew she must come to these meetings. Her grandson was not feeling well on Wednesday evening, but she told her family, “I have an appointment with Jesus. I must go to these meetings.”

She was one of the first to testify how she had been healed in her stomach of a severe case of acid-reflux. Acid continuously poured through her body making it where she could only eat certain foods in very small amounts. Many times she could not even lie down to sleep.

Healed of Acid Reflux

The next day she came back and testified how when she went home she found her grandson had been rushed to the emergency room of the hospital with a severe asthma attack. Just as she had been taught, she went to the hospital and laid hands on him and he was instantly healed!

Then she realized how hungry she was and ate a very large meal before going to bed, and she had absolutely no problem with acid.

She was so excited as other miracles continue to happen through her hands that she went a few blocks down the street from the church and started minister­ing healing to those she found in a bar. She exclaimed, “We can do it too!”

On the last day she bought several copies of the manual, God’s Provision for Healing, and said, “I’m going to open my home and start teaching this to others!”

Function of the Ministry

Joyce and I love to heal the sick, and we began teaching believers how to minister healing about twenty years ago when God revealed to us that our function according to Ephesians 4:12 is to equip the saints to do the “work of the ministry.”

Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12).

Doing the works of Jesus is the work of the ministry.

In Mark 16:17,18, Jesus said: “these signs shall follow those who believe.” And one of those signs was, “they shall lay their hands on the sick and they shall recover.” Jesus ministered healing to the sick everywhere He went.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

In one session I was going to lead the people into the baptism in the Holy Spirit. There were seven believers in the audience that wanted to receive the Baptism, and as I was teaching and focusing on the people who would be watching the video, they came and stood behind me. Then those who wanted more freedom in their heavenly language and more boldness in their life came and stood behind them. God is so faithful! As I stood teaching with my back toward them, when it was time to receive the Baptism they did! All seven, the ones who had never spoken in tongues before, received their beautiful heavenly languages.

The Excitement Grew

As we continued recording, the excitement grew as believers caught these truths and then during the practical training sessions began to experience the healing power of God flowing through their own hands.

During these practice sessions, almost everyone indicated that they had felt the power of God flow into their bodies and many testified of the healings that they had just received in their own bodies.

And Finally Exploded

On Saturday night we concluded the training with a “Healing Explosion” with the miracles happening through the hands of the believers who had just been through our training.

The excitement was over­whelming as people came to the platform to testify about the many exciting miracles they had just received in their bodies – types of pains and symptoms had immediately left their bodies. Pastor Jason said he had never seen anything like this in his whole life. He said it has taken his church to a whole new level and that they would never be the same again.

Dr. Berin Gilfillan, the founding director and President of Good Shepherd Ministries who are the producers of the ISOM, told us that in spite of the many technical challenges, he was absolutely overwhelmed at the quality of the production. He said it was the most powerful and clearest production he had ever done and he was thrilled.

We all know that it was because the supernatural hand of God was so evident in the production of every session, and we give Him all the glory.

Believers Doing the Works of Jesus

Pastor Jason knew we were planning on doing this teaching in ten hours in English only. And he said, “Please, please, come back later this year and do it here!”

Moving on to Asia

We will be returning to Asia March 18 – April 14. During this time, we will be ministering in The Philippines including doing a number of ISOM graduations. We will also be ministering in Malaysia and working with our friend, Dato Chua Jui Leng, and the architect to finalize the plans for the development of the beautiful private tropical island of Palau Tengah for the Apostolic Training Center.

Our plans are to bring select top apostolic leaders from all over Asia for two-week periods of impartation and then to send them back to their nations with the anointing, resources and tools to raise up Apostolic and Equipping Training Centers in their own nations. In this way we see a mighty army of leaders being trained to plant churches and reach their own nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Asia trip will also take us to Indonesia where we will be ministering in Bandung and Jakarta and again teaching the whole first week of The School of Acts in Semarang. Last year we had over five hundred students as I taught in this powerful school.

And on to the United States

We will also be ministering this year to a group of Russian Churches in Portland, Oregon the last weekend in April.
