Frances Hunter

went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2009.

She went to sleep here, but she woke up in heaven.

What a wonderful way to travel home.

For forty years, she and Charles have been special friends to us.

They received the baptism in the Holy Spirit soon after we met,

and it didn’t take them long to bring us in too.

They have been a spiritual Mom and Dad to us,

encouraging us – teaching us – even pushing us

out of our comfort zones.

We have ministered together across the United States,

and around the world.

We have walked through dark times together,

and Frances was always the first one to laugh.

But this is not a dark time.

This is a time of rejoicing. We can picture Frances

planning her memorial service,she would be ordering

balloons, confetti, and lots of pink!

There is so much we could say, but this is enough.

We'll miss you Frances, and we can only imagine

how joyful you are now in the presence

of the one you have loved far more

than your many friends here -

His name is Jesus.
