Ever since the Mountain Top Encounter, Joyce and I have felt drawn to learn more about coming into the Glory of God’s Presence. This week He has been speaking to us about coming in and dwelling with Him.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide
under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1)
Where have believers chosen to dwell?
The Tabernacle of Moses was built to exact dimensions. It was an earthly picture of the throne room of heaven. Have they chosen to live just inside “the gates” of the Tabernacle? They have come into a relationship with Jesus but have not moved into all God has prepared for them. They are easily distracted by the sounds and attractions of the world. They have little protection from the attacks of the enemy and they seldom hear the voice of God.
Others have discovered and entered the Holy Place where there is the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit every day. They have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and have come into a relationship with Him. They have learned to hear the voice of God. The gifts of the Holy Spirit have begun to manifest in their lives.
But others have desired far more. There is a place “Within the Veil,” the Most Holy Place in the very throne room of God Himself. This is “the secret place of the Most High,” a place of intimate relationship with the Father, a place of awesome glory "under the shadow of theAlmighty."
Here we are within whispering distance of the voice of God. This is a place where we are not content just to visit occasionally, but a place where we can “abide” in Him.
It is in this glory realm that our lives are transformed from glory to glory. The apostle Paul wrote,
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,
just as by the Spirit of the Lord ( 2 Corinthians 3:18).
This is a place of intensified glory where His glory will come upon us.
Arise, shine; For your light has come! and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
The Way In?
But some would ask, “How do we get through the veil from the Holy Place to the Most Holy Place where only the High Priest could go and only on the Day of Atonement?”
On that special day, the High Priest killed the “Lamb without spot and blemish.” He collected the blood in the basin. He had the hyssop and the incense and the coals from the altar. His hands were full as he stood in front of that thick veil that spread from wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling.
The question is, “How did he get into the Most Holy Place within the veil?” The writer of the Book of Hebrews said,
“the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest
while the first tabernacle was still standing.
It was symbolic for the present time” (Hebrews 9:8-9).
The “way in” was “symbolic for the present time.” It appears he came in like Ezekiel came into the “inner court.”
The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold,
the glory of the LORD filled the temple (Ezekiel 43:5).
It appears he was supernaturally translated like Phillip was from where he had just baptized the Ethiopian Eunuch to the area of Azotus.
Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away,
so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing (Acts 8:39).
The Golden Altar of Incense
It seems the Golden Altar of Incense was also translated within the veil providing a prophetic revelation of the move of God that will translate us into the glory where we can abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
When God gave Moses instructions on the construction and placement of the Golden Altar of Incense, it was to be in the Holy Place, directly in front of the veil (Exodus 30:1-6).
However the writer of the Book of Hebrews said it was found behind the veil in the “Holiest of All.”
For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, which had the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold (Hebrews 9:2-4a)
The Golden Altar of Incense was the place of worship and prayer where the burning of the incense was offered “with the prayers of the saints.”
Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And he was given much incense,that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand (Revelation 8:3,4).
These “prayers of the saints” are collected in the golden bowls of heaven.
As we spend time in the Holy Place in the realm of the Holy Spirit in prayer and worshiping the Father in spirit and in truth, the Spirit will lift us up and bring us into the Secret Place of the Most High where we can abide under the Shadow of the Almighty.
It is there that we are changed from glory to glory. It is there that we will experience the life-changing manifestations of His glory.
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).
Going On
The month of June has Joyce and I ministering in Canada, California, Ohio and Michigan. We will be ministering in Malaysia and Beirut, Lebanon, during the month of July.
In Malaysia, I will again be teaching the day classes and night classes at The School of Acts in Kuala Lumpur as I did in Indonesia during the month of April.
Joyce and I will also be ministering in Johor Bahru and working on plans for our new Apostolic Training Center at a private Island that is being developed off the coast of Malaysia.
In Beirut, Lebanon, Joyce and I will be doing an 8-day, nationwide crusade/conference. While in Lebanon on July 24th, I will be celebrating my seventy-fifth birthday. Many have been concerned for our safety, but God has given us the following verse from Lamentations 4:20
“…Under his shadow we shall live among the nations.”
Multiply through Media
Years ago, God begin to speak to us to “Multiply through Media.” We have spent years in the production of our teaching manuals and producing the hundreds of hours of video and audio teachings that accompanied them. These manuals have been translated into over twenty languages and are being used to start Bible Schools in churches and other locations in nations all over the world.
A few years ago, we began to expand this by putting all the foreign language editions of our manuals on our website for free access, download and duplication. We now have close to a thousand pages on our website.
Last year we expanded this to have our own media channel on XPmedia.com. Now we have close to two hundred hours of our video teaching on our website and media channel that is being accessed free of charge by many thousands.
In this past week we have experienced as many as fifty thousand “hits” in a day on our website. Our manuals continue to be translated into more and more languages as God provides the funds. While some have been translated free of charge to our ministry, most are costing us $200 for each of the ten manuals or $2000 per language. We are asking the Lord to speak to our partners who feel led by the Lord to sponsor a translation or a whole language.
New ISOM Trimester
The work of translating the new thirty-two hour Gill Trimester of ISOM’s Miracle Ministry Module is also continuing. The first five trimesters of these video teachings with workbooks, including our course on Supernatural Living through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, has been translated into over sixty languages.
For our new trimester we have had the English/Spanish, ISOM Express (English Only) which is on our Media Channel, and the Chinese completed at a cost of about $5000 each. There are a couple more languages that will cost this much, but for most of the other languages the cost will be about $2500 each. Perhaps you would like to sponsor or help sponsor one of these languages.
We frequently receive messages asking us when the funds will be available to translate this material into the language of their nation. The hunger, the need, the great opportunities keep challenging us. We really do need your help.
