Interactive Video Meetings
We began a new expansion of our ministry as we did the first interactive projected video meeting by way of Skype in Lahore, Pakistan.
We ministered for almost three hours from a hotel room in California. We could see them and they could see us, bigger-than-life on a big screen in Lahore.
It was awesome to watch on my computer as many came forward to receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Then many were baptized in the Holy Spirit. Many received healing miracles in their bodies.
We have been filled with wonder as we have seen picture after picture of this meeting. This has to be a wave of the future.
A pastor from India contacted me this week. Can you come to India for our annual conference of churches? Everything in me wants to go, but there are only so many weeks in a year and there are only so many dollars to pay for air trips. I emailed him back. "What would you think about my coming by way of the Internet?"
His reply, "Wow, would you do that? That would be so wonderful!"
Instead of having to reply that I just couldn't work it in, we are now working on scheduling our next Interactive Video Meeting to a major church conference in India.
What a day we live in!
Colombia
A few days after I was able to minister in Pakistan, I flew to Colombia, South America where I ministered in person for five days in a church of 11,000 members in Medellin, Colombia.
This was the week before Resurrection Sunday and the church was packed. We held three meetings a day to get everyone in. At the end of each service, hundreds massed to the front to be born-again. The crowd was so large they were not able to record all that came forward but did document close to 500 that were born into the Kingdom of God during these power-packed meetings. Then I led new believers and many others into the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
As I was speaking the Word of healing, people began to receive their healing all over the auditorium. A lady came out of a wheelchair and faith kept rising as many more received the manifestation of healing in their bodies.
One lady who had been suffering with severe pain in her knees and had walked with difficulty with a cane for many years was standing with a large crowd to receive her healing. As I spoke the Word of healing from the platform, she fell under the power of God and was instantly healed.
On the last day which was Resurrection Sunday, she came to the platform to testify and she held her cane in the air. All pain was gone and she had not used her cane since she was healed.
Pastor Bob Finke emailed me soon after my time there. "There were many, many more miracles, lots of healings like we have never received before in any meetings or crusades."
And the testimonies continue to come in. God confirmed the preaching of His Word with signs and wonders. As people poured to the front for salvation and the baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing miracles too numerous to count happened.
Glory in San Francisco
I flew from Colombia, South America, to Los Angeles and then from there directly to San Francisco where I ministered for two days in a Prayer Conference hosted by Prophet Timothy Snodgrass. We met in the beautiful, historic Voice of Pentecost theatre building now called, "A Place to Meet Jesus" pastored by Richard Gazowsky, his wife and family.
As I spoke, the glory of God was so awesome that at times it was almost impossible to stand. Some were shouting and dancing as they came forward to experience the glory of God at the front of the auditorium. Others fell under the power of God. Some saw flames of fire resting on God's people. We were all in the life-changing presence and glory of God.
On to the Carolinas
As I write this, I am preparing to leave for close to two weeks of meetings in three cities in both North and South Carolina. I am scheduled to minister seventeen times.
I am filled with excitement as I am going to a large church in North Carolina, and the pastor says most of the people need to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit and be taught how to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
I was told that the pastor and people in his church have never been so excited and are expecting a mighty move of the Holy Spirit during these three days of meetings.
In another city there is great excitement about my coming to meetings sponsored by a Christian University that has been using our manuals and video teachings for many years. They have rented an auditorium that seats five-hundred people.
I will also be returning to a church that is filled with young people in South Carolina where I did an ISOM graduation two years ago. I am scheduled to do 9 more meetings there during the five days I am with them. Please join us in prayer for a mighty move of God in all these meetings. The Gathering Place
Years ago, we moved into our new location on Big Bear Blvd. by the entrance to the airport. The first time we were in the building, Joyce felt the anointing of the Lord. As the owner of the building shared his vision for what was going to happen there, Joyce saw a sign on the building with the words, "The Gathering Place." She was certainly puzzled as the owner was talking about another sign he was going to put up.
Then, over a period of time, we purchased the building and soon after that, one of our prophetic spiritual sons, Steve Davis, walked into the building and spoke, "This is The Gathering Place, Where Eagles Soar, Lions Roar and Living Waters Flow." Eagles represent the prophets; lions represent the apostles, and the living water was the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
For the last six months, there have been three meetings a day of prophetic praise, worship, declarations and teaching of God's Word at The Gathering Place. The presence of God has gotten stronger and stronger. The afternoon meetings have moved out to prayer walks around the valley and now are extending to evangelism in the market place. Believers will be going into the businesses and offering to pray for their needs.
In May, we are beginning regular Sunday worship services and "The Gathering Place" is being launched.
We ask you to pray for us as we reach out to those who live and work in the beautiful Big Bear Lake valley. We have been praying every week for all the churches and pastors by name - those who have been lifting up the name of Jesus in our valley. Now we feel that God has led us to also provide a place for the harvest of new souls that are going to be born into the Kingdom of God.
Pray with us for a harvest of souls here in our community. Joyce and I could not do this and continue to fulfill the call of God on our lives, so God has led Pastors Scott and Glenda McConaughey to shepherd this new group.
On to the Nations
We also ask for you to pray for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit during our meetings in Guatemala City the last two weeks of May and our meetings in Malaysia and Indonesia in June and in Toronto, Canada in July. We are also planning a "Healing Explosion" series of meetings in a Hispanic church in Rialto, California and another ministry trip to Bogotá, Colombia in August.
Kingdom Partners
Kingdom partners are needed as never before. We have an urgent need for thousands of dollars to upgrade our computers and video production equipment. God continues to give us an ever-increasing vision for the expansion of His Kingdom.
