2012 - The Year of Promise ~ The Restoration of God’s Glory

Joyce and I are praying God’s richest blessings on you as we enter
the year of 2012. We believe: 2012 is the year of apostolic believers receiving and becoming conveyors of God’s glory on the earth.

The Biblical Importance of 12

The number 12 is a Biblical number of great importance. When God created the earth, He divided the day and the night into 12 hours each.

There were the 12 sons of Jacob, 12 tribes of Israel, 12 spies sent into land, 12 pillars of Moses’ altar, 12 gemstones in the Tabernacle and in Aaron’s breastplate, 12 silver platters, bowls and gold pans. The sacrifices included 12 young bulls, rams, lambs and goats.

There were 12 wells of water at Elim. There were 12 men carrying 12 memorial stones as they crossed over Jordan into the promised land. There were 12 stones in Elijah’s altar and Elisha had 12 yoke of oxen. There were 12 golden lions in Solomon’s Temple.

Jesus had 12 disciples who picked up 12 baskets of fragments after Jesus fed the multitudes.

Paul baptized 12 disciples at Ephesus.

There are 12 foundations, angels and gates of pearl in the Heavenly Jerusalem and the 12 fruits of the Tree of Life.

The number 12 is the Biblical number of governmental order or perfection. It has to do with the restoration of the structural perfection of God’s purposes on the earth.

Carriers of the Glory

Even as the number 12 is an important number in the Kingdom of Heaven
and throughout the history of the Bible, the year 2012 is a significant year
in the advancement of the glory of God’s Kingdom on this earth.

Jesus chose His twelve from among His disciples: And when it was day, He called His disciples to Him; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles (Luke 6:13).

Apostles are ones sent to represent and restore the glory of His Kingdom on earth. Jesus trained His disciples and sent them out.

Paul and Barnabas were sent out from the church at Antioch.

In the same way, Jesus is sending us, as apostolic believers, to be conveyors of His glory in this great end-time harvest. Then Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:21).

Jesus also commissioned His apostles: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19,20).”

Throughout the Scriptures, apostolic believers were conveyors
of the glory of God’s awesome presence.

The man, lame from his mother’s womb, went walking and leaping and praising God as Peter and John were on their way to a prayer meeting.

Peter walked into the Gentile home of Cornelius in Caesarea and began to speak and the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word (Acts 10:44).

Paul arrived at Ephesus and as he began to teach some disciples and laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. The apostles were conveyors of God’s glory, peace and power everywhere they went.

As apostolic believers, we too are to be conveyors
of God’s glory, peace and power.

We can bring the atmosphere of God’s glory everywhere we go where people are hungry and thirsty for more of His presence. The prophet Isaiah wrote: Arise, shine; For your light has come! and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.  For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you (Isaiah 60:1,2).

The Holy Spirit is Looking

The Spirit of the Lord is looking for those who are hungry
and thirsty for the peace and glory of His presence.

Throughout Scripture, a dove was a type of the Holy Spirit. When Noah sent out the dove and it did not find a place to land, it returned to the Ark. When Noah sent the dove out again, it came back with an olive twig. And the third time the dove did not come back because it found a place to land. Today, the Holy Spirit is “looking for a place to land.” He is looking for those who have prepared themselves as worthy recipients and are hungry and thirsty to be conveyors of His glory.

In Matthew Chapter ten, Jesus sent out His twelve apostles to “the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”

He continued by telling them as they enter a city or town, “inquire who in it is worthy and stay there. And when you come into a house, greet it. If the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.”

Even so today, the Holy Spirit is looking for a place to land. He is looking for those who will be conveyors of His glory.

We must prepare ourselves as they did on the day of the dedication of Solomon’s Temple. They were clothed in the white linen of His righteousness.

As they brought in the Ark (the presence of God), they offered high praise and worship unto God. We too as “the house of the Lord” will be filled with a cloud of God’s awesome glory.

2012 is the year of the restoration
of God’s glory to His Church and to each of our lives.

As we go into this new year, let us prepare ourselves and eagerly desire to not only receive the manifestation of His glory, but to also be active conveyors of His glory to a lost and dying world.

How awesome it is to be conveyors of the glory of His presence. Joyce and I have walked into the homes of people who were being tormented by demons and have experienced the demons leaving the moment we walked into the house.

As we have stepped off the platform during meetings to minister, there have been times the glory of God’s presence was so awesome that almost everyone was instantly slain under the power of God.

Many have been healed as we walked into a room.

We have experienced angels singing and even playing the keyboard, clouds of glory, fireballs, manifestations of gold and oil flowing from hands and many other awesome demonstrations of God’s glory.

We know this has nothing to do with us. It is only because we have eagerly desired and prepared ourselves to receive and be “conveyors” of His glory.

We ask you to join us in preparing ourselves for the Dove of the Holy Spirit to have “a place to land” on our lives.

We believe that this year of 2012 will be the year that you too
will receive and be a “conveyor” of God’s awesome glory as never before – that what has been the experience of a few will become
the experience of every hungry believer.

Celebrating Christmas

What if  â€¦

The Son of God had chosen not to leave His wondrous place in heaven
to be born in a lowly stable – In the small, obscure town of Bethlehem?

What if  â€¦

The Baby Jesus had never been born?

What if  â€¦

The temptation on Jesus, as He lived on this earth as a man and not as God,
had been too much and He had not lived a perfect life?

What if  â€¦

as Jesus prayed in Gethsemane, He had said, “God, this is too much!
I’m not willing to endure the pain of the Cross.”

How desolate and without hope we, and this whole world would be.

Everything we have,
     Everything we are,
Everything we hope to accomplish in this life,
Is based on His unbelievable sacrifice for us.

As Joyce and I come into this Christmas Season, we are once again filled with awe at all Jesus has done. We thank Him that with your help, we have been able to make ministry trips this year to Ireland, Latvia, Turkey, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Costa Rica and Cuba. We thank Him for the many faces we have seen light up in joy at God’s presence, here and overseas. We thank Him for the financial miracles we have seen. We thank Him for the physical miracles we have experienced. We thank Him for every one of you! We thank Him for your prayers, and for your sacrificial giving as you partnered with us to take the gospel to one more place – one more group – one more person!

Christmas means so much more then families getting together, as wonderful as that is. It is so much more then the gifts that are given. Christmas is a time when we remember that one night in a lowly stable, the Son of God came to Earth to live and die for us, to provide our eternal salvation so that one day we can go and be with Him in the wondrous place He’s prepared for us!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Thank you for all You Have Done!

God's Healing Power Remains

Joyce writes on November 14th: Sometimes we tend to tell the miracles that happen without telling the "behind the scenes" part. Last week my body went into such spasms of pain that A.L. took me to the Emergency Room here at Big Bear Lake. The pain was coming from my chest area -- but a few weeks ago God had healed me, I literally felt it, when my heart "kicked back into gear." I posted that miracle below.

I refused to believe that my miracle was for just a few weeks, but the pain was unbearable. Of course they did many tests immediately and were able to diagnosed the problem. The pain was coming from an inflamation of the connective tissues around the lungs. but in doing x-rays they also found what they believed was a new problem with my heart. They put me on some strong medication to bring relief from the inflamation and strongly recommended I go back to the cardiologist immediately.

We tried to go from the ER to his office, but he had been called away on an emergency. Then the office was closed until Monday. The medication was taking effect and I was feeling much better so I insisted A.L. leave for Pasadena the following morning. After the Rose Bowl "Line in the Sand" day, A.L. was scheduled to fly on to Costa Rica and Cuba.

When A.L. left to go to Pasadena, we both knew it would be easy for him to come back in an emergency. But Saturday I went into a strong "downturn." Our son is here at Big Bear. His wife is a nurse, and she came over immediately. We discussed the situation. She did agree with what I felt -- that the symptoms I was having were most likely from the strong medication, but we could not know for sure until I saw the cardiologist Monday.

A.L. and I have felt for three years that he was to go to Cuba. The first year was cancelled. Last year the meeting was cancelled again because of difficulties on the other end. Now ... We kept praying, was he to go or to come home. He was packed ... he was at the airport ... everything in him wanted to come home. Everything in me wanted him to come home... And yet we both felt he was to get on the plane! I don't know of any parting that has been harder.

Monday our son John took me to the Cardiologist. What they had seen on the x-ray was easily understood by him. He said, "This happens in our hearts all the time, we are just not aware of it. In 99% of the times the heart just heals itself. The symptoms you are having are from the medication." Wow! the doctor says 99% of the time, but the Word of God says by the stripes of Jesus I have already been healed! That's 100% sure.

I was able to talk to A.L. in Costa Rica and give him the good report before he flew on to Cuba early that morning.

What joy we both feel in knowing we did not let a "bad report" throw us off course. Wonderful things happened on this missions trip! When we say, " Please, keep praying for us," you have no idea how important your prayers are.

Last Sunday of October 28, we baptized about 3,000 people
and in October we baptized more than 3,800 people. In the attachment I include some photos of the baptism held last Sunday.
It's truly harvest time. God bless you and your ministry!

Thanksgiving !    A Gateway to the Glory of His Presence

How blessed we are to live in a nation where we are reminded every year to stop and focus our heartfelt thanks to God for all of His abundant blessings. Once again, it is a time to Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name (Psalm 100:4). It is a time to join David in saying. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms (Psalm 95:2). I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. (Psalm 69:30)

Joyce and I ask you to join us in giving extravagant expressions of thanksgiving to the Lord. As we do this together, we are literally opening “portals,” or “gateways,” into the heavenly realm of abundant blessing over our nations.

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory?
The L
ORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates! And lift them up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The
LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory
(Psalm 24:7-10).

Abraham built an altar of worship and thanksgiving at Bethel. In Genesis 28 we discover that it was at this very place that his grandson, Jacob, had a dream during which he was amazed to discover that he was at the place of an open heaven. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. The LORD begin to speak to Jacob in this place telling him about the abundant blessings he had promised to his grandfather, Abraham and his descendants. Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it." And he was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!" There was something “awesome” about the place where Abraham had taken time to worship and give thanksgiving to God. He had actually, in the spirit realm, opened a “portal” or “gateway” to the heavenly realm.

As Joyce and I give thanks to God for all He has done for us, we are also giving thanks for you and your faithful partnership with us in our international ministry. Joyce and I ask that you join with us as we give and continue to give extravagant thanksgiving to the Lord for all His blessings. It is our prayer, that as you do, you like Jacob will hear from God, and experience His ministering angels and the glory and abundant blessings of an open heaven.

August 22. 2011   Jesus Still Heals!

Joyce received an outstanding miracle last week and we believe that this is the time for you to receive your miracle too! With Joyce it was a healing miracle. She had been feeling weak for many months, and on a recent trip, she found it very difficult to even walk to the next terminal as we were changing planes.

We haven’t needed a doctor for many years and don’t take any medications, but we decided it would be best to see a medical professional for a physical so we could target our faith for her healing.

During the physical, an EKG was run and it revealed that Joyce had experienced a heart attack. We were referred to a cardiologist and after examining Joyce, he scheduled a battery of tests on her heart this past Wednesday.

We sent an e-mail to a few close friends who we knew would pray the truth of God’s Word and not the doctor’s report. We asked these few people to join us in speaking healing to Joyce’s heart, claiming with us that by the stripes of Jesus, Joyce was healed. We felt their strength as they joined us and our faith was being strengthened.

Joyce asked the Lord where she may have opened the door for this attack, and the Lord took her back to over 40 years ago when her grandmother died. She had said, "That's the way I want to die. Live life to the fullest and then be gone." Her grandmother had died of a heart attack. Only God could have shown Joyce where she had opened the door! She negated those words, and asked the Lord to forgive her for speaking death on herself.

On Tuesday, Nasir Iqbal (Hope in Christ) called and asked Joyce to put her hand on her heart as he declared healing. Joyce felt her heart shift under her hand. She said it felt like her heart suddenly shifted into gear.

On Wednesday morning as we went in for the tests, Joyce said, “I feel the best I have for months.” On Thursday, when we returned to the cardiologist’s office we got the report, “No heart problem! No damage from the previous heart attack, and no blockage!”

This is a new day in the kingdom of God. Miracles are Happening! I was recently in the Chicago area and as I ministered in a tent revival, many excitedly reported that all symptoms of sickness, disease and pain were instantly gone. This included three people who were suffering from deafness in their ears.

As Joyce and I are giving praise to the Lord, we are now speaking healing to each person who reads this letter! We believe this is the time for you to receive your miracle too.

Joyce writes,

While A.L. has been on a ministry trip to Asia, I have been enjoying the wonderful pictures that are coming from outer space from the Hubble Space Telescope. What a wonderful heaven our heavenly Father has created! The colors are awesome! There are thousands of these pictures, and I put together a slide show of a few of them for our own enjoyment Now I have posted them on Vimeo for others to enjoy also. Just click on the picture below, sit back, relax, and think of the marvelous things God has done!
