Moving in the Spirit by Helene

The Mountain Top Encounter was awesome again this year. God has told us it was to be a time of refreshing for His people, and we believe everyone came away refreshed, renewed, and re-energized. It is impossible to explain what happened. Thursday morning erupted into a Holy Spirit Party and we all laughed with joy and what God was doing.

As A.L. started to take up the offering Helene a Prophetic artist who has come to several Encounters came up with a picture she had painted that morning of what she had seen in the Spirit during the praise and worship. She explained the picture and then said, "The Lord has spoken to me that I am to donate this to Gill Ministries, and they are to sell it for my offering." Someone called out, "Let's have an auction!" Someone else called out, "Take the price off it. The price is unlimited!" Steve was quickly drafted to be the auctioneer and the fun began. The price was soon at $1,000 and I was sitting there in amazement ready to hear, "Going, Going, Gone." But another artist came up and stopped the auction. "You don't understand. Your not buying canvas and paint, you are buying a prophetic work. This is a picture of Spirit of God taking us to the nations, and this is to go to the person God is speaking to. They are going to the nations, and this is a prophetic painting for them." Another lady jumped up, "It's not me. I can't do it, but the Lord says it will go for $3,000."

Steve started the auction again and the price went from $1,000 to $1,500 to $2,000. There was a pause and then a lady stood and said "It's me! I bid $3,000!" Everyone stood and cheered, and some of us were crying.

Helene also painted another picture (the one above) which is now hanging in our recording studio. She started with a vase - a clay pot and then began to add the moving of the Holy Spirit in swirl after swirl. In time the clay pot was completely hidden in what the Lord was doing. Isn't that the way it is to be when we come into His Kingdom? We are lost in Him. All over the picture in gold paint are the Words Yes, Yes, Yes. One of A.L. and my favorite songs is "Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes, Yes, Yes.

February  7, 2010 Awesome things are happening! On January 1, we were hacked by a group, or person, in Turkey. He even “signed” his name. As we began to pray about it, both A.L. and I began to laugh in the Spirit. And then God said, we had an open door to return the attack but our attack was to pray for God’s blessings to be on them, for them to know the Father’s love for them, for God to reveal His Son to them, and for new impacts into their lands. We have been praying that for just one month, and we have asked many others to join us in praying for revival in the Arabic countries of the world.

Last week we were at the International School of Ministry (ISOM) meeting of Regional Delegates from around the world. We had an awesome time, and a large part of it was meeting the people who are establishing schools in the Arabic countries. We were hearing about supernatural appearances of Jesus and about bravery almost beyond belief.

One young man in _____ accepted the Lord and wanted to learn everything he could in a very short time. They put him in a room with the ISOM DVDs Library, and he started listening to one after another. He listened to A.L.’s first Session on the Holy Spirit and came out of the room to find the pastor. “I must have this gift!” he exclaimed.

Of course the pastor didn’t know which DVD he had been listening to. “What gift?”  he asked.

“The baptism in the Holy Spirit.”

“Oh, that’s easy.” the pastor replied and led him into the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

In _____, everyone carries a Personal ID Card, and this follower of Jesus had his religion on this card changed from Muslim to Christian. In the natural, this was a very dangerous thing to do. After just a short time, he was in the army of Iran. It’s mandatory there. They were doing a review of a platoon of 2,000 soldiers before the General and other important people. The General asked, “Is anyone in this group a Christian?”

Knowing he could die, one hand still went up, and one man loudly replied, “Yes, Sir!”

And then the General stood up and clapped his approval for the man’s conviction of his belief, and for his bravery. Later, everyone in his platoon was asking him about his beliefs, and he now has wide open doors of ministry.

A revival is going on in _____. We met a young lady in Las Vegas who is from _____, and she also told us about the revival. She said, “The people in _____ love Americans.” She has a degree in journalism, and she offered to translate our manuals into _____.

While we were in Las Vegas, we also made contact with a family from Egypt, and they are already hard at work translating God’s Provision for Healing into Arabic. This has been a dream of ours for years, and this year it is happening!

We already have the ten manuals in Uzbekistan.

While we were at the ISOM conference, we were at a banquet and watched and prayed as God brought in over $160,000 dollars to have two new WOW trimesters translated into 25 languages. We were rejoicing with them. (I even cried with them.) It was an awesome thing to see God bring in that kind of finances.

The next morning, I was talking to the Lord about the costs of translating the Gill Miracle Ministry Module, 32 hours of strong, foundational, teaching, into all the languages that are needed. These sessions cover New Creation Image, The Authority of the Believer, God’s Provision for Healing, Praise and Worship, and Prayer. Last year, Gill Ministries was able to pay for the recording, mastering and transcribing, of the Spanish, English Express, and Chinese translations. That’s just three of the basic 25 languages, and we were really stretched. That morning I once again put it all in God’s hands. There is no way, in the natural, that Gill Ministries can do all of this.

While were meeting with a friend who has opened a studio in India, he was telling us about the need to get this trimester into Hindi. There are thousands of people already waiting for it! He thought he could get it translated into Hindi for about $3,000. A.L. and I looked at each other, took another step of faith, and said in unison, “Do it! We are going to believe God for the finances to come in.”

Then, we were having lunch with an on-fire, born-again Arab we had just heard speak and been so drawn to. We mentioned the urgency we feel to get the 32 hours of recording we have just completed interpreted into Farsi (Iranian). Immediately, he said the name of the man in Canada who could do the work, and then he added, “I’m going to pay for it.” (That’s about $5,000.) The founder of ISOM joined us at the table for a few minutes and was talking about what is happening in Germany. About then, the German coordinator stopped by our table to say hello, and soon we heard our new friend say, “I’m going to pay to get the Gill’s miracle module into German. Just send the bill to me.” (Roughly, another $5,000.) Another man, the coordinator from Turkey stopped to say a few words, and again we heard our friend tell this Regional Director, “Get what you need, just tell ISOM to bill it to me. This is good ground, and I’m not going to miss this blessing!”

This is a new time in the Spirit.
Things we have been believing God for years,
are happening now.

As we talked to one ISOM Regional Director after another, we were so strengthened to hear how the teaching on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit is already impacting one nation after another. In Kuwait they have graduated over a 1,000 students in the past six years. They are holding schools in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, Farsi, Indonesian, Nepalese, Tagalog, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. We  hadn’t realized that Kuwait is the gateway to that whole area of the world. Many, many nationalities pass through there and then on to jobs all over that region.

We have been praying, others have joined us and are praying, and already doors are swinging wide. This week, we were invited to come to Turkey, Lebanon, Germany, and Cuba this year. God said,

A Time of Shifting – Changing – Realignment – Reassignment.

And we are seeing it happen!

This past week, we were also given the ability to connect our website to another who has already posted the ISOM teaching on the Internet in four Arabic languages. He will add our new trimester courses as they become available.

This morning at breakfast just before we left the hotel, we were joined by an on-fire, born-again Jew. Americans, Arabs, Jews, Chinese, English, Germans, Hispanic, Iranians, Japanese, Pakistanis, Samoans, Black, Yellow, White, Male, Female, Young, Middle Age, and Old. The list could go on and on. We were all together. We were all in unity through Jesus. What a mighty God we serve! Without a doubt, Jesus is the only answer for the world situations we are in today.

We just had to let you know all that is happening since we were “hacked” on January 1.

What a wonderful time to experience the power of God in our lives and in the lives of those around us!

On New Years day our website, and the websites of several of our friends, were "hacked" and displayed a Moslem flag with enough information to let us know it was done through a person or group in the nation of Turkey.

For a few seconds we were filled with dismay, but as we started praying in the spirit, we were quickly lead to a place of peace, and then of joy. It is hard to explain how joy just began to bubbled out of our spirits, and we began to laugh.

The verse where Joseph told his brothers, "You meant it for harm, but God meant it for good" came so strongly to mind. "Lord, What is the good to come from this situation?" we asked. Immediately we understood that they, the dark side, had opened the door. They had attack us, and now we were released to attack them. How? By speaking God's blessings to be on them, and the nation of Turkey. We are having between 6 and 10,000 hits a day on our website, and we are claiming at least  a seven-fold return of that amount in souls saved. We are claiming a revival in the nation of Turkey. We are releasing the Holy Spirit to flow in an intense way inTurkey. We are believing for visions of Jesus to appear to individuals, to groups, to whole villages, all across that nation.

As we, and some friends whose website was also attacked, were praying that morning, the Lord showed us Saul, who became the apostle Paul, being struck by a great light that day on the road to Damascus. And we immediately wondered why God could appear to him in such force. We believe it was because Paul truly thought he was serving the Most High God. His actions were horribly wrong, but his motivation was good – He thought he was serving God by his actions. After this time of intense prayer, we believe we have an open door to pray for every Moslem around the world that truly believes that when they are serving Allah they are serving the Most High God. Our prayer is, “God bless them in Turkey and around the world. Reveal yourself to them in power.”

We immediately reached our website provider by telephone, and found that our website was backed up completely every day. That was a wonderful to hear! And after about eight hours of work on his part all of us were up and running again. But our prayers for the Islamic world and particularly for those in the nation of Turkey are continuing.

We are asking you to join us in this prayer. Our Islamic friends who are so loved by God, need to know Jesus! He is truly the only answer for the world situation we are in. We need to reach them through prayer and in love. It is good to remember, We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
