A Wonderful, Joyous
Resurrection Sunday!
April 2, 2013
A.L. and I were visiting a small church in another town the Sunday before Resurrection Sunday. As we were having lunch with the pastors, a husband and wife team, she made the statement, “Our church owes such a small amount and it will be completely paid off.”
I heard something in her voice. Was it desperation, disappointment? Her words were filled with faith but something was bothering me, and I began to ask more questions.
They told us how they had tried so many ways but were still short of having it paid for. They knew from God it was to be totally paid off, but... She continued, “It would be such a miracle to have this building completely paid for. We are so close. We are going to have such a celebration when its done!” (What they didn't tell me until after their miracle but what I was hearing was that they were now facing foreclosure on the property.)
As we drove home, I was talking to the Lord about their situation. They had paid double, even triple the monthly payments for several years to pay off the loan but the financial “crunch” had come just before the church was paid off. “They need a miracle,” I said to the Lord and He replied, “You could pay it off! You could provide their miracle!”
My response was a long drawn out, “Ah-h-h-h-h.” I was mentally looking at the ministry bank accounts. There was no extra money there. A.L. and I could take money out of our retirement account... But one of our ministry board members had recently called with a message from the Lord that we were not to touch our retirement account just a few weeks ago... But now God was saying we could do it ...
A.L. was packing that evening getting ready to leave for Columbia on Monday but I couldn’t stop thinking about their situation. And as we prayed about it, we made a commitment to the Lord that we would pay it off. As we were sharing this with some friends, Scott and Glenda McConaughey, Monday at lunch, I said, “Scott, we need your help. Would you talk to the finance company and get the exact amount needed to pay the loan off.”
Even as I was saying this, the Lord was showing me “This isn’t only their miracle, it’s your miracle!” Wow! That sounds pretty exciting I was thinking, but God continued, “I want you to tell others. I will release a financial blessing on everyone who gets involved.”
A.L. had to leave for the airport but Scott and Glenda took up the responsibility. They called many friends of the church who they knew and asked them to help. Almost everyone they talked to gave, a spirit of giving had come. In faith, Gill Ministries obtained a Cashiers check for the amount that was needed early in the week.
We knew it was to be done quickly. So on Resurrection Sunday, the day we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, we drove back to the church. We gave the people in the church an opportunity to be part of the miracle and they too gave sacrificially. Part of the offering was strewn across the floor, and I walked across this precious seed to the pastors and gave them the certified check. We all declared, “This church is now paid for!” It was so wonderful as we all celebrated and praised the Lord!
This week, as we made the deposit, received more checks in the mail, and as a charge was called in, we found that God, through His people had provided the full amount needed! God’s people had stepped in and helped a brother and sister in the Lord. People, who didn’t even know them or the church, had given sacrificially. This was the family of God flowing together helping one another. What a wonderful day it was and how glorious to have been a part!
As I was thinking back and rejoicing over all that happened, I asked the Lord, “But weren’t A.L. and I supposed to pay this? Or at least a large share of it?” How humbled I was as I understood, “No, this time, your part was to believe Me, and let it happen!"
You can be part of what God is doing around the World today!

My Christmas Vision
It was a hot afternoon in July, in Houston, Texas, and A.L. and I were praying about one of the first teachings we were preparing to do on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. When suddenly, it was as if I stood in the doorway of the most beautiful home entrance hall you can imagine. This entrance was open all the way to the second story and there was an awesome, curved stairway to my right. A huge Christmas tree filled the area.
This tree was so tall it extended into the second floor of the home and it was as if the stairway curved around the top of the tree. There were Christmas ornaments of different shapes and sizes, each with an inner light, glowing from the top to bottom of the tree. There were swirling ribbons, and …

But I was focused on the gifts under the tree. I saw large gifts of various sizes, each beautifully and uniquely wrapped all around the tree. There was a large rocking horse, other unwrapped items – an unbelievable abundance of gifts.
As I stood in the doorway, it was as if I was the mother waiting with great anticipation to see the children running down the stairs on Christmas morning, but they didn’t come… Even as I stood there, the room became full of sadness, and I heard God say, “My children are not receiving their gifts.”
We have the awesome gift of salvation,
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).
And every believer has the wonderful gifts of the Holy Spirit – the gift of tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, discerning of spirits, the gift of faith, healings, and working of miracles. But how many of these gifts have never been opened?
As we come into this Christmas Season, it is good to remember that the gift God has given us through His Son, Jesus, far exceeds any gift we can even imagine giving to one another.
There is one gift we can all give regardless of our financial abilities. One awesome gift, and that is the gift of our love, and His all encompassing love.
God’s love is encompassed in just two short verses,
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:16.17).

Dear Mr & Mrs Gill,
Thank-you for this website! I am writing from Australia although I have lived overseas and in America too and I have been listening to the lectures beginning with the miracle evangelism ones and I have emailed it to all my Christian friends both here and overseas.
I am looking for God-given opportunities to apply what you are teaching. One friend has a month off work and the timing is perfect and she has listened to one already and is also very encouraged. We all need more courage! I think you guys are perfectly lovely asking God for the nations! God bless, Pia

This email just blew our minds! Wow, what God can do! Teacing the Word of God in the public schools! Grace Tuls writes:
Hi Joyce and A.L.
Greetings! I just want to let you know that your manuals are being greatly used to build the four churches I spoke at the first week of September. The big church with 400 members, are strongly encouraged to attend the classes taught by our national director. They have finished most of your manuals.
The churches are vibrant, enthusiastic and very eager to learn more. It was a joy and great blessing to be able to speak for the King. I could tell they had matured greatly from when we went there two years ago. They have also started a class in the prison and in a home in Lima, Peru. There are more than 20 groups meeting for study. The curriculum Jack compiled looked so good that the public school system will now allow your manuals to be taught in the high schools! This has never been done before...
All we can say is, "Thank you Jesus!

Report from Indonesia June 2012
We arrived safely in Jakarta, with all our luggage, on Thursday afternoon, and we were able to get some rest on the airplane.
We had a few minutes in our room then a long dinner with Mark McClendon, who heads CBN Asia. God connected our hearts and he asked me to minister to his staff on Friday morning. They had just come through the huge World Prayer Assembly with over 100,000 in attendance from all over the world, I had read about it in Breaking Christian News, and a major new prayer movement was birthed.
Over dinner we talked about the danger of perpetuating the old model of prayer, the danger of begging God to do our will, and He was in total agreement. He asked me to minister on prayer.
The next morning, after worship, he shared about their new expansion into Myanmar as he had just returned from there. Eric spoke briefly and then Mark introduced me. It was held in their biggest production studios and they had all of the big cameras running, so perhaps it will be broadcast all over Indonesia. It really went awesome and the people including Mark were very excited. (A.L. didn’t say, but I’m sure he taught a variation of The Word of the King has Power, or Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be Done. Those two messages are so on his heart for this time.) Between 250 and 300 were there.
Eric and I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday going in different directions, speaking at different churches. We are feeling great, even with little time to sleep.
The connection with Mark McClendon was awesome as he really caught our vision of the need for discipleship. I believe we will be doing much together in the future by way of broadcast here in Indonesia and other Asian nations. He will also work on getting us an interpreter for the balance of our manuals.
It is really exciting - all that God is doing and the favor He has given.
Last night was awesome. I taught on The Healing Power. As I demonstrated with my handkerchief after calling three forward, by word of knowledge, that had neck pain, all were instantly slain under the power of God and got up healed. Many were baptized in Holy Spirit. Many more received freedom in tongues, and almost all came forward for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit."
When they started speaking in tongues, they couldn't stop for a long time and it was almost deafening. (That’s the roar of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!) Afterward, I called out by a word of knowledge for pain in the top of shoulder area and many came forward. Then all were healed, one by one, as believers who had just received Baptism in the Holy Spirit laid hands on them.
This morning, Eric was to speak in the first session, but the Spirit of God moved so powerfully that he couldn't even speak. Everyone was praying/shouting in tongues at the top of their lungs for almost the whole class period (1 1/2 hours). At the end, the Lord gave me a prophetic message.
In the second session Eric spoke on The Authority of the Believer. It was awesome as they really caught it. I ended the session with a couple of example stories about how we, and others, have operated in that authority.
Tonight, I plan to either minister on Prayer or Healing in our Redemption, but who knows what God might do! There are about 300 students and God is moving in such power. I have never seen such passion in any group of students.
Eric is such a blessing and moving in an awesome anointing. We have been praying and discussing about the "expansion" God has been speaking to us about. We are considering a name similar to "Discipleship International," which in additionally to our material would have links to other excellent training materials such as ISOM. That way, we would not be in competition, or having to promote a new program, but instead be a resource center for many excellent discipleship materials by using links.
As I said, Mark McClendon is very interested in working with us as he too feels the great need for discipleship. Jimmy Oentero has offered us time on his satellite television network which is reaching 3 billion across the middle east. We also connected with a man at his home in Jakarta, who owns two television networks and is financing Hollywood movies. It is so awesome all that God is doing!
We finish here early Friday afternoon and will fly back to Jakarta, then Saturday morning I fly up to Medan Sulmatra, Indonesia to minister through Sunday morning and Eric will fly to another major city. We will both be back in Jakarta Sunday night and leave for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on a 11 AM flight on Monday to start at The School of Acts there on Monday night.
We feel so much the prayers of all of you! You are loved and appreciated!

Revival in Indonesia!

The Baptism of 3,000
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus,
I just want to let all of you know that God is moving mightily among us and in all over Indonesia. Revival is sparkling in Indonesia and God gives us great favor with the Moslem people in Indonesia. Last Sunday of October 28, we baptized about 3,000 people and in October we baptized more than 3,800 people. In the attachment I include some photos of the baptism held last Sunday. It's truly harvest time. God bless you and your ministry!
By His grace, Petrus Agung

While A.L. has been on a ministry trip to Asia, I have been enjoying the wonderful pictures that are coming from outer space from the Hubble Space Telescope. What a wonderful heaven our heavenly Father has created! The colors are awesome! There are thousands of these pictures, and I put together a slide show of a few of them for our own enjoyment Now I have posted them on Vimeo for others to enjoy also. Just click on the picture below, sit back, relax, and think of the marvelous things God has done!
